Kenmore Oasis Dryer, intermittantly stops running and displays an F45 fault code.

What is error code F30?
Kenmore elite oasis st dryer - has power but won't run. Thermal fuse is NOT where I expected from videos I have watched.

The F30 code is a false code. It does not mean anything. The dryer will work fine. When I worked for Whirlpool, this was a programming issue. I owned the same dryer. It displayed this code and engineers explained this to me. The dryer worked fine.

Press and hold the "Start" button to restart the dryer cycle if the "PF" (power failure) error code appears. This code often appears when a cycle is interrupted before it completes. You may also check the breaker or household fuse, and ensure the machine has not come unplugged.

The situations I have encountered that refered to a F43 or F45 error code, usually ended up having to have the control panel re[placed after a series of different checks such as blocked vents and electical issue Check your warranty If the dryer is fairly new it should be covered, Also if you orginally pruchased a maintenance or service contract with the item the control panel is definately covered.

The F44 error code on this type of dryer indicates a blower motor control board failure. Since it happens only occasionally, then you could have a loose wiring connection or a partial obstruction in the blower housing. I recommend that you unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections if you are confident that you can safely access the internal dryer components. If you find a loose connection, then tightening it or plugging the harness securely into the connection will likely correct this problem.

F40 = thermal fuse blown.
If the fuse is OK the error points to a communication problem between the machine control board and motor control board (check connectors).

We had this error on our machine for about a year before we finally got sick and tired of it. Our dryer was purchased in 2006.

Here is the solution: the code means there is an error on the thermistor. Our thermistor was loose, as were other electrical wires. My husband tightened up all the connections and the thermistor, and we have never had this error again.

However, we will never buy these machines again either, because we have had numerous other errors on the washer and dryer.

I don't see this code often although I can steer you in a good direction, F41 to F47 is error codes for dual motor problems on oasis.

Any solution? I have the same F50 error code.
