Text Whenever I receive a text it doesnt pop up and say that, it just stays there in my inbox and shows a envolope at the top of the screen

I have the same problem. I did go through all the settings and there is nothing that refers to the notification of text messages. Is there a specific place within settings that i need to go to fix this?

Is it possible your out of the 3G network when the origional messages were sent? If you have red bars the text wont come through until you get a good signal= yelllow or blue.

Go into your text message settings and look over each option very carefully. It may be set to "No Notifications".

I connected my work email to my Motorola Smartphone Q9c, and it shows a message in the inbox from the home screen, but when I click on it, it just takes me to the screen as if I touched the message button....

the phone doesnt know where to go when you click that, i dont know why it does that, go to you text messages, then press left or right on the d-pad, near the top left it should tell you what message inbox you're moving to, keep clicking till you get to the work one, you have to remember what name you gave your work account

MY TEXT MESSAGING WONT LET ME TEXT ANYONE. IT SAYS TEXT MESSAGE FULL BUT I HAVE NO MESSAGES IN MY INBOX OR OUTBOX

Does it show signal bars on the screen and are you able to make/receive calls? If not then that is why. AT&T does not guarantee in building service. If you do have signal and it is working other than text, then check your message center number in the device:

From the standby screen, press Menu.
Press Messaging.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Text Message.
Enter appropriate Message Center Number, then press Done. The message center number that should be there is +13123149810 (and the + sign does need to be in front of it)
