Keep losing connection with controller and console.

Your Playstation 3 controller may have:
1: Cord has bad connection
2: Battery has "Dead Cells" and not chargable
3: Lose connection inside controller.

Is this a on-line game? If so, there is little you can do to control connections with a server located who knows where.

check to see if the battery terminals are corroded from battery acid or check to see if they are lose

Recheck all connections and then try safe mode. SAFE MODE hold finger on the on/off sensor keep your finger their until your machine turns off, take your finger off then place it back on the on/off sensor keep it their until you hear 2 consecutive beeps and then take your finger off. Select Restore PS3 system. NOTE: you will lose all saved game data, music, photos etc. except online trophies, ranking, etc.... Good luck!

This could be that your batteries are losing it's power.
Try changing them and see what happens.

if you unplugged your modem it probably changed your ip, that happens to me alot lol. and if you have a from from the xbox to the network, that means your connection is wrong. make sure that the ethernet cable is connected from your xbox 360 and modem, then try again.

you did not say if it was cordless or not,, i am going with cord one,,, seem like you have a bad wire coming out or you need to clean plug and connetor with aclhol and swap !!!

If you are continually losing the connection between the Xbox and the controller, it is probably a problem with the controller losing power. Try replacing the batteries on the controller.

If that doesn't work, try a different controller and see if the same problem happens. It could be that the controller itself has a problem.
