Bosch classixx check water light

I have had this dishwasher for about 3-4 weeks. All working well, but today it stopped with about 119 minutes left (usually says around 142 mins). The "check water" light was on.
On opening dishwasher the bottom had dirty water in. Tried resetting to another cycle- nothing happening. Any ideas? hubby away a few days and would like not to feel a useless woman where machines are concerned and fix without having to call engineer. Extreemly useful (mechanically minded) teeenage daughter available to assist(with direction)!

Same problem, but fixed as underneathe the filters at the bottom was a small cap that covers the top side of the pump impellar. This unclipped to show food stuck in the blades stopping the impellar rotating . Cleared the food and forgot to replace the cover ! so took the bottom off and found the discharge pump just rotates and unclips.Took off the dischrge pipe and blew through it to remove any blockages ( all when I needn't have) .

Rememberd to refit the cover on testing and it started to pump out. :-)

I have one question though. The discharge pipe goes from the pump up the side of the machine to what seems like a vent before going out to the drain .Whats the purpose of this vent if that what it is?

    Cheers

Same problem, check water light on. Only had the dishwasher for 3-4 weeks, previous Bosch dishwasher went for years,no problems like this one....took the filters out, emptied sump and found the cover, removed cover sure enough impeller jammed with food? cleaned out and freed impeller awaiting the results, as the dishwasher is in cycle now. This new filter system looks the same as our old washer, but obviously lets bits through. Will now rinse our dishes before putting them through a wash cycle?? many thanks for the information

My bosch dishwasher does the same thing. Sometimes works after I shake it. I think there is a ball float somewhere that is stuck.Anyone know where it is?

Classixx model SMS40C02GB/25. What causes it to stop and turn on 'check water' light?

Sometimes the inlet pipe filter is restricted. Although water flows into the machine it is on a timer and if not enough water enters the machine registers that it is low. To test this start the machine and after a couple of minutes open the door. Add about a litre of water and then close the door. If the machine runs full cycle it's due to either an obstruction in the inlet filter or in the inlet matrix on the left hand side ( remove top and left side panel to see this)

Bosch classixx dishwasher starts cycle then says " check water" and then seems to do same thing again and again, pumping water in and draining it again

Probably jug impellor part number (424099) from espares, buyspares or bosch direct.
No fix unfortunately, this problem manifests as unit starts to fill and motor does not switch on. Eventually the unit overfills and the pump and fill start to alternate and check water light comes on. If this is the fault then this part is the solution it runs in line with the inlet valve and side fill chamber, take the left side panel off (looking from the front) it is tucked away behind the hoses bottom left (white plastic disc with two wire connection tag). Check water light can also come on if the unit is not pumping, if this is the case, repost and I will try and talk you through clearing this fault.

Bosch classixx dishwasher saying check water also not washing or spining

Bosch dishwashers have a food filter to catch food particles. You have to clean it occasionally, or it plugs up and stops water flow. This could be your problem. (Most other makers use a little grinding blade to finely chop the particles so they can be sent down the drain.)

I have a bosch dishwasher classixx its less than a year old, the 'check water' light comes on and it doesn't complete the cycle. Water is left in the bottom unable to drain away. I have checked pipes as...

if its less than a year old why dont you contact the manufacturers service team it will still be under guarantee as the bosch guarantee is 24 months
you can dowload a copy of the instruction maual free of charge from the bosch or bsh home appliances web site

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

Check water

very possibly you have a faulty water flow switch. If a certain flowrate is not detected within a certain time, that light would come on

Bosch classixx slimline dishwasher not running through cycle

fault is that there is a leak. the tray at base of dishwasher is full of water which operates a float and turns on drain pump. tilt over 45deg and water will run out and then it will work or remove bottom front panel and mop out (better). then find leak
