Like it was mentioned you have to take it apart!
This sucks and is scary the first time, but is really no big deal.

I would recommend reading and studying pictures in a repair guide, like the <a rel='nofollow' href="http://fixaps3.info">ps3 repair guide found here</a>, before you open or try to fix.

There is a section in that guide that is called, getting stuck games out of the PS3. It shows step by step what screws to take out and how to get the disc without breaking the drive.

You have to take it apart and find away in there to get out DO NOT TOUCH LENS THAT READ DISC!!!!

Game locked up and disk is stuck in the playstation. When I turn off and turn it back on all I get is red lights and no power up

open it up get the disk out and giv eit back to the place were u got it

Hi

Please refer to this link for ways to troubleshoot the hard drive and sometimes if you are lucky you can recover the problem - however if these solutions fail the unit will have to be sent in for repair I am afraid.

Disk won't eject. The console makes a rapid clicking noise when I try to eject.

Used a paperclip to grab the middle of the disk that was stuck inside. Pulled it to where I could grab the disk and mannually pulled it out.

When i get to the loading screen on disk 2 it gets stuck on a black screen. i tried cleaning both the console and the disk but it still gets stuck on the black screen

Alot of the newer playstation console's won't read the old black or blue labels. Try getting it resurfaced. Cost you about $2 at the nearest game store.

please try to put a disk cleaner in, turn it on and see what happens. Also, check for damages on the CD itself

keep the power or the elect button pressed for 20 secs. this will trigger the disc to come out i think.
