The ratio is 40:1 Just add 3.2 ounces of 2 cycle oil to one gallon of fuel. Be sure to cap off the tank and shake to distribute the oil throughout the fuel before adding to weed eater.
I believe you have the wrong GAS AND OIL MIXTURE. MOST WEED EATERS are a Ration of 90:1 or even less 75:1 For WEEDEATER I would use a 50:1 or if you choose 32:1 should work. Use a good 2-stroke oil. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER OIL> You see the more oil you use the harder it is to start. Don't forget to Pump the fuel Bulb on the side before trying to start it.About 3 x should do it. GOOD LUCK and it is and does effect me when their is death by a LOVED ONE. My prayers are with you! From Mddoc13 ( BOB)

2--cycle synthetic oil into
one gallon of fresh gas.
This engine is certified to operate on unleaded
gasoline. Before operation, gasoline must be
mixed with a good quality synthetic 2-cycle
air-cooled engine oil designed to be mixed at a
