Walkman won't charge, start up screen stuck on

I find that if you take it out, put it on hold, and then reset it it ends up realising that it can't turn on because it is on hold. Then plug it into the machine, take it off hold, and wait, hopefully this will work.

If not go to control panel, hardware and sound, device manager. You should get a pop-up window. Find portable devices, walkman should be in this. If it has any symobols near it, you may need to update software - this can be done by right-clicking and selecting "update software".
