Hi! All of a sudden my phone stopped working on. When I try to power it on, the infra red light flashes three times and nothing else works. I have tested the battey and it is fine. I have tested putting in another battery, tried powering it on just on charger, and with/without sim card. I am desperate for a fix. Please help!

Hi friend this is the issue related to EROM of your phone's software and this will be resolved.
connect your phone in flash mode to sonyericsson tool2lite and while connecting to usb press 2+5 on your keypad.then this program will repair your EROM.

If you hold down the power button (and keep holding!) while wearing the headphones, you will hear three beeps (keep holding! If you lift your finger, you have wait a moment to start over) followed after a moment by two beeps. If you do this while the headset is NOT on, it will enter the "discoverable" mode and the lights should flash red/blue red/blue. If you do this while the headset is on, the second set of beeps sounds a little different, and those tones mean the headset is turning off.
The "manual" (a single sheet of paper) for this device is a joke, and website technical support is nonexistent.
When I first purchased mine, despite the poor instructions, I was satisfied, due to the low price. But I've only had the device for less than a month, and I've only used it three times, and suddenly I can't get it to pair with my laptop or my phone, though it had worked find a couple of weeks ago, last time I used it.
Sometimes you get what you pay for, I guess. Disappointing.
The first thing to do is try a different, fully charged, battery - one of things that can cause that flashing LED is if the battery is really flat. If you don't have access to a spare battery, then try plugging in the charger and see if that LED comes on solid - then leave it for an hour or so.
If that doesn't work, the next thing to do is download the Sony Ericsson Update Service client from the SE website and try and do a firmware upgrade - if it says you already have the latest firmware, just select "Update anyway" - this will delete all the content in the phone (but not the memory card), however.
If you can't get SEUS to connect when you plug in the phone holding the "C" key, then try plugging in while holding down "2" and "5" and see if that works.
