Model PT-1900/1910 operational manual is lost.

What size tape are you using? If you have switched from half-inch to quarter-inch tape, then chances are that the printer is working correctly as the general size of the print is determined by the size of the tape. Beyond that, you can use the Text button at the top-center of the keyboard to enter the options for customizing the print such as the font used, the size (small, medium, or large), the width of the letters, and the style (such as bold, outlined, or shaded).

With the unit powered up, press and hold the yellow Code button. While holding it down, press the & key and watch the pointer at the top of the screen. Note how it is moving to the various size As. That will increase and decrease your font size.

In case you've forgotten how to change the text size, hold down 'Code' and '& Size' key to display the current setting. While still holding the Code button, push and release the '&' key to change the size.

To reset, I would try removing the batteries for a few minutes before reinstalling them.

Just two guesses.

Hold down the [Code] key and press the [&] key to change text size.
There are five different size/styles of text shown at the top of the screen. Keep holding down the [Code] key and tapping the [&] key until the little arrow is pointing at the size you want.
(It doesn't change the display on the screen, so you'll get to play and print out lots of tests - in the name of science!)
