SOURCE: leak samsung front load washer

Hiya bcd1...what model number? see below info.. is yours one of these?

The front loading washing machines have been known to leak water onto the electrical connections to the machine's thermal sensor, which could cause an electrical short and ignite a circuit board, causing a fire.
The recall covers 250,000 Maytag washers and 20,000 Samsung front loaders.
Maytag machines affected have model numbers beginning with MAH9700 or MAH8700. The Samsung washers have model numbers beginning WF306BHW and WF316, although not all serial numbers are subject to the recall.

learn more detailed information about the recall by visiting Whirlpool...or Samsung's at www.samsung.com/washerrecall.

Hope you find useful!

SOURCE: Samsung Washer WF306LAW stopped draining and won;t spin

Drained the water from the tub into a bucket. Since the water flowed through the disharge tub I knew there were no obstructions in the line. I then took took the discharge pump out and took it apart. Turned out to be a bobby pin in the motor that was jamming the impeller.

Put it all back together and it works just fine. Took me about 2 1/2 hours total to diagnose and repair.

SOURCE: Door won't open on Samsung washer

This has happened to me twice. Both times I found the drain pump seized up with
1st time) The right rim from a pair of reading glasses
2nd time) A plastic toothpick
Both times the object was in the discharge port of the pump. You can see this by lifting the check valve with the pump removed. Removing the pump is simple. Unplug the washer. You have to remove the drain line from where its attached to the rear of the machine (one screw) to remove the rear access panel which slides into upper and lower slots. You will see the pump with an inlet and discharge line attached. The lines have simple squeeze clamps. When you remove the lines, you will drain the wash basin so have towels and a squeegie handy. Remove both lines and wait until the basin drains. When it stops draining remove the pumps electrical connector by squeezing the release catch on it while pulling it. The connector can only go on one way. Remove the 3 hold-down bolts on the pump baseplate. Remove the pump and lift open the discharge check valve and you'll find something there I guarantee it. Remove with needle nose pliers and re-assemble in reverse order.
This is actually a good design because the computer protects the pump by sensing a higher than normal current draw when foreign debris gets jammed in it. It will trigger the ND (No Drain) code and sometimes lock the door. Always check this first before you call the expensive repair man. If its not a jammed pump it will most likely be the control panel/processor. Good luck and always clean out pockets before loading the washer to prevent this,

SOURCE: filter

I have a vrt ... I hope this helps.... Take of that little door on the front. Have a bucket or bowl ready. Bring down that little black hose, turn the white cap around and pull till it comes off. Drain into the bowl, turn the white filter cap counter clockwise to release some of the suction and wait till the hose stops draining. Remove cap, clean under running water w/ toothbrush. Manual says to make sure that the interior is free of anything (I wiped mine out) and then put it all back together again. Good luck

We have a Samsung front loader. Model # WF328AAIWIXAA. We started the machine to do a load, and later we were going to transfer the clothes to the dryer. It appears to not be getting power. We cant open...

Is the display (User interface) is lighting up and on. That means you are getting power.

If display on and cycle stopping at mid cycle and cannot open door.

If the machine water level sensor detects sufficient water in the machine it will tell the control board not to release the door.

Is there is water in the machine. May be your drain pump is clogged. Does it give a error code on display.

Don't force open the door. You will break the lock and you will need $ 200/= parts and labor to change the door lock
