There may be many reasons of losing your applications:

1. if your operating system (Windows) got currupt and you have reinstalled it, you can install from your original genuin installation disk.
otherwise you can download from http://www.office.microsoft.com
or http://office2010.microsoft.com

2. If your OS is intact and nothing is done with MS Officw installation, your srat menu items or office short cut from the bar are lost.
Simply you can create desktop icons on desktop taking applications from c:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office11 and can drag them to start menu.

3. Or you can menubar recover utilities available from net.

please let me know if the problem is solved, if needed pl do contact me on [email protected]

Cheers:)

Dear Sirs, I have installed the trial version of Microsoft Office over my existing Microsoft Office 2000 Premium installation. The trial version has expired and I would like to go back to my original...

Office12 = Office 2007Office11 = Office 2003Office10 = Office 2000
Office 2010 shouldn't affect 2000 at all. It will however take the .doc, .xls etc file types and associate them with 2010.So all you need to do is right click a file of each type select "Open With"and navigate to the Office10 folder and select the 2000 versions of word, excel, etc.Could also just uninstall Office 2010 from Control Panel > Programs
Comment back if you need more help.

Can not use office program

I doubt you computer had no Microsoft Applications installed on it or maybe these applications were hided somewhere else in the computer's system. To check if you have it or not please go Start Menu and type in the Run winword for Microsoft Word, mspub for Publisher, mspowerpnt for Powerpoint, excel for Excel, etc. Or go to Start Menu then hit All Program and look for the folder Microsoft Office.

I got a new laptop but it dosnt have microsoft excel. arnt all laptop saposse to have it

No MS Excel is a part of the MS Office suite and comes seperately from some computers. Some brand new computers may come with a trial of the office suite, but not all computers come with office on it.

Office 2003 Standard edition compatible w/ Small Business edition

Where were you saving the old Excel files to: c:\my documents for example. Is your new Excel saving or retrieving documents from the same location? If not, it will look like the old files are gone, when Excel is simply looking in the wrong place.

An installation won't wipe out data files--they're in two different locations. If you do a global wildcard search (*.xls) you will probably find them.
