Ds disaster just got a nintendo ds for my son (not lite) and he's trying to use his gameboy color games like we were told he would be able to use. So far 6/6 games keep sliding out of slot 2; it's asking for a game pack, none are being recognized, and I'm about ready to take this overpriced paper weight with sound effects back. HELP!

The Nintendo DS cannot play Gameboy color games! The most recent system that can play Gameboy Color games is the Gameboy Advace SP. If anyone tells you differently, then they are lying.

Gameboy Color games aren't compatible with the DS. Whoever told you that didn't know what he was talking about. The slot at the bottom will only recognize Gameboy advance games.

Corupted data on Nintendo DS Lite

is it definitely "any" game? Reason is that a lot of games are now suffering from flat batteries, the symptom of which is what you're saying, corrupt save data.

The only solution is to change the battery if thats the case.
