I touched feature button and 9# for the phone and no prompt to change the time .
If this is an NEC Elite system, you must be on a phone with "attendant" features. By default they are on ports 1 and 2. Try and find an ext 10, 100, 1000 or something like that. Pressing Feature - 4 tells you what port the phone is.

Try pressing 9 and # at the same time and holding until you hear a beep

1.
Grab an outbound line.
2.
On the LCD screen look for ">>>>",
press the corresponding button.
3.
Keep pressing this until you see "DND" on the
screen, press the corresponding button.
If that doesn't work, you need to make sure DND is PROVIDED for this phone. Most likely if you can't turn it off, NOT PROVIDED is selected.

The phone I have is a DTH-16D-2(BK)TEL , Dterm 80 phone that I am trying to set the time on. The 9# technique does not work for this system. Any one have suggestions for this model?
