Hi,
I only have one of these models, so I don't have a lot of experience. It failed after 6 months of use hard use and then died. I checked out the power supply and found that the top of two of the electrolytic capacitors bulged up, indicating that it had failed. The tops should be flat. I was never able to find the specs for these parts but I replaced them and the unit has work for over a year now. It was important to replace the capacitors with not only the same capacitance and voltage but also one with a low ESR.
That was a simplified explanation of what I did to resolve a prolbem found in only one unit. So this may not be the answer to your problem. And this may be more than you care to get involved in.

HELLO

This comes as no surprise to me at all! I have had loads of these pieces of junk through my hands in the last 2-3 years and I can tell you now that it will be a problematic power supply.

Do you require spares for this unit? FORGET IT! These things are not designed to be repaired, they were built in China to a price and Cyberhome do not exist anymore.

Do yourself a favour and bin it! There are much better and more reliable DVD recorders out there!

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

I have telefunken tv and whene i start it the picture come but it block i cant move anything i cant use the remote i cant even close the tv just if i Unplug the power pls helpe me

I'm not quite understanding what exactly you are saying. Do you mean,
You have a TV, and when you turn it on, you have pictures but, you can't scroll or operate/change channels, volumes etc. by using the remote but, in order to turn the TV off, you have to unplug the power cord.
1. Check the battery in the remote
2. If the battery is good in the remote then you might have a bad remote, buy new remote or replace it with a universal remote.
3. If either not a battery or remote, then it will be the control board inside the TV quit working and will need to be replaced. Depending on how expensive or age of the TV. By the time you invest fixing the board with labor, might runs you from $200 to $400 bucks, and you can buy a new TV from Walmart a 49" inch TV for $319 bucks.

Unionaire wall mounted a/c/heater only works manually.Remote control no longer works even with new batteries.Should I order a new remote control or is the transmission problem from the wall unit?

check the remote operation with your cell phone
put new batteries in the remote , turn on the cell phone to camera and point the remote at the lens of the phone
press any button/s on the remote and a white dot will appear on the cell phone screen
that is the infrared of the remote transmitting
that would then mean that the receiver in the wall unit is not working

That isn't the problem. Those batteries are equivalent. These little coin cells are only used to back up the settings memory and the clock. Your problem seems to lie with the main source of power. I don't know if your camera will work on the mains adapter alone without the big battery.

What type of battery do I need for my remote. Stopped working, so I bought a new batter DL2025 and now the remote only works sporadically. What type of battery do I need to use, please?

2035 is thicker than the 2025 which if you are using the thiner one it is not making good contact. They are the same voltage, but the 2025 also wont last as long due to less reserve.

Changing battery with enrgizer 2025

even cahgning to fresh battery , you still cant turn on your speaker? you may have a faulty wiring inside the speaker. one quick way s to open the speaker and manually check if the connections are ok. if they aree ok, it may be a capacitor problem.
