Flat Panel Monitor blinks green & yellow, long time to wake up...

I have a Balance Digital Technology flat panel monitor and it recently started blinking green, and yellow alternately, when being refreshed out of 'sleep' mode. It does this at times for a very long time, sometimes up to a minute or more, before it jumps back visible (the screen). Also, even more recently, I have to constantly switch the power plug to a new outlet because it will simply go out, black screen, no power, no lights. I have no other problems on these outlets with anything else, only the monitor. But it is doing this more and more frequently.

Hello
before telling you the problem , check whether the cord into the cpu is not loose.if it is , then re-insert tightly, but if the connections are fine , i am afraid there is a bad news for you.
This is a failure in the active matrix or its driver i.c. If the unit is out of warranty the cost should be between $80.00 and $180.00 to fix this depending if the active matrix is the cause.Call your costumer support as they only can replace this component

Hope your Monitor is in guarantee period and
Good luck

I have not picture.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

How to I get the speakers inside monitor to work?

I recently was given a MAG Model 780 too. I found the input for speakers just today. When looking at the monitor, on the left side behind the monitor you should be able to feel a flat horizontal surface. If you lay monitor down, you will see 2 mini-plug openings. These are your input spots for speakers/microphone. I believe pink is speakers & green is microphone.

Flat Panel Monitor goes off two seconds after turning on the computer. It will not stay on. System is about five years old. could the monitor be bad?

Have you moved it recently? The monitor has a sensor that tells when the computer is on. Some times the computer settings tell the system to go in to standby mode and this will remove the signal that tells your monitor to stay on. Check your computer to see if it's running. Usually a green or yellow light on the machine will blink. If everything is good, check the pins in the cable from the CPU to the monitor. Check both sides. If a pin is bent or bad. replace the cable. Trying to straighten it might break off in the plug. Also, the video part of your computer may be bad. Try the monitor on a diffrent computer to see if it powers up.

HP Pavilion F1503 1503 15in Flat. screen blanks out constantly

THis is a problem of the invertor board. If you are technically able you need to disasseble the monitor and resolder components around the red or yellow inverter transformers.
