Hi, We have a Toshiba rear projection tv model 46WH08G which wont turn on. by this we mean that the red power led light is on and weve noticed that the green led light alongside is flashing, which has a timer like symbol above it. what do we do to fix this. Thanks,

First of all, thank you for posting your question here at Fixya.
My first advice is to unplug the unit from the outlet at least 30 minutes to reset itself and check if the symptoms still persists. If yes, may I know if it encountered before then there's some instances that the unit will power up after a few minutes of pressing the power button key?
Also, please double check the model number of your unit, if I'm not mistaken, it is 50H81 not 50H87.

when you turn it off your light blinks because your internal fans are still spinning allowing the inside of the chassis to cool off, hence the reason you dont watch a DLP TV and then unplug it. DLP's are JUNK

Yes,the LED power lite on the front panel stable?Yes,mean the DM power supply board is good.LED power like blinking,mean the DM power supply board is dead.DM power supply is good,still making that clicking sound,when turn on.Mean ur Blast board is dead,that the board that help to light up the projection lamp.

If this occurs, the green LED on the TV front panel will blink (and the red LED will be lit solid) until the TV is finished restarting the lamp

Please intimate exact model of your Sony TV to find out reason of no power up.

Hi, your power board is in a weak state. this is being caused by major component failuer. replacing the power board will fix this issue.

Make,model,age and chassis off sticker on back of set.....T.

Try to unplug and replug back the power cord of the
tv and turn it on again. Sometime this work.

Needs Convergence amps replaced. Also fuses around this board are out. There should be small pico-fuses open around this board(replace)

take your tv to a tech it needs repair.if you are not a tech you wont be able to do it your self.the tv is having problem in the power supply and other related circuit.good luck.
