I replaced the batteries on my wireless keyboard and now it will not work. I am at a different computer now. My wireless mouse works.
well i can't manage to make my cordless keyboard connect. my mouse functions properly though. the pc recognizes the keyboard, ive changed batteries, but still no results. what may cause this?
CTRL-ALT-F12 by itself finally did the trick!!!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of the new cordless keyboards comes with encryption enable. If the encryption code gets corrupted then the alphabetical and numerical keys won't work because the computer cannot 'understand' them. If your kb is Logitech try this:
1) Install the Logitech software and restart.
2) The software will tell you to press CTRL-ALT-F12. This procedure resets the keyboard encryption and tells you to enter a new code.
3) If you already had the software installed simply press CTRL-ALT-F12 and follow the above procedure.
For other manufacturers look out for reseting instructions.
Check the reciever of your keyboard ,maybe its not inserted properly.

LOGITECH WIRELESS KEYBORED WONT WORK
My wireless mouse works but the wireless keyboard does not. I have replaced the batteries in the keyboard, but still no go.
Hey guys about the keyboard the thing is, the electricity went blank one day. And from that day, the receiver does not recognize the keyboard at all. Only the mouse works. So what may be the problem? And what's the solution?...a new keyboard?
The solution to press CTRL ALT F12 does not work. The batteries have been changed and the connections are correct. What other solution?
