Hey guys about the keyboard the thing is, the electricity went blank one day. And from that day, the receiver does not recognize the keyboard at all. Only the mouse works. So what may be the problem? And what's the solution?...a new keyboard?

Most of the new cordless keyboards comes with encryption enable. If the encryption code gets corrupted then the alphabetical and numerical keys won't work because the computer cannot 'understand' them. If your kb is Logitech try this: 1) Install the Logitech software and restart.
2) The software will tell you to press CTRL-ALT-F12. This procedure resets the keyboard encryption and tells you to enter a new code.
3) If you already had the software installed simply press CTRL-ALT-F12 and follow the above procedure. For other manufacturers look out for reseting instructions.

Left click is slow or doesn't work...I sometimes need to click it several times

First thing I would do is try it on a different computer to isolate if the problem is with the computer or the mouse. Also being that it is wireless make sure to try new batteries as well.
Thank you,

The microsoft wireless mouse stopped working after a power failure. I get a message that says the USB device is not there. But I cannot navigate my computer w/o the mouse

The Microsoft wireless mouse comes with a wireless receiver, right? Before you do anything, the first thing that you can try is to replace the batteries with fresh ones.

If same problem occur, try to connect the wireless receiver into different USB ports of the computer. Then check if your wireless receiver and mouse has a connect button. If it does have connect buttons, briefly press the connect button on the receiver, then hold down the connect button on the mouse for 5 seconds. Then release the connect buttons.

If you get the same problem, hold down both connect buttons (receiver and mouse) at the same time for 5 seconds.

Last, try to connect the wireless receiver into different computer. If you get the same problem, send the receiver and mouse to the manufacturer for repair.

Thank you and good luck!

Microsoft & Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse - Slate - VSBX300008 Model 1056. I plug it in, and it works but after a while it stops working completely. I try reconnecting, re plugging it in everything...

Here's what you need to do:

1. First, replace the batteries. Try to use regular batteries (only for testing).
NOTE: Do not put the mouse on the cradle or charge the mouse if you're using regular batteries.

2. Try to connect the wireless USB dongle in to different USB ports of the computer. If same problem occurs, try to use different computer and see if the same problem occur.

3. Make sure that there's no possible wireless interference near the computer. Like base of the cordless phone, cell phone, and any other wireless devices that are using RF signals. They might interfere with the RF wireless signal of your mouse.

If it behave the same thing on different computer, then you may need to contact the manufacturer for repair.

Thank you and good luck!

My wireless keyboard suddenly is not working, almost all keys. Battery is good and some keys work, but it's not normal

Things to try:
  • unplug USB connector and plug in a different USB port if available
  • locate wireless reset button and press, type various keys over the next 10-20 seconds
  • clean keyboard thoroughly
  • reinstall keyboard drivers
  • last resort: check warranty and replace keyboard if still under warranty
I hope this helps.

Microsoft wireless keyboard

You need to reset the keyboard by turning it over and pressing on the reset button. If it still doesn't work, press on the receiver button then press the button on the back of the keyboard. It resets and connects the keyboard to the system. Hope that will fix it. Bud
