If it's a standard USB cable then you can buy a replacement at just about any electronics or office-supply store. Take the camera with you and get a cable that fits. Otherwise try contacting the manufacturer.

It looks like the sd450 only uses a mini-b usb connection to connect and the other side is standard usb. You can get this cable almost anywhere. Here is a link to google shopping where there is a ton of online retailers to choose from: http://www.google.com/search?q=canon+sd450+usb+cable&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rl.... thank you, Lee
You don't need to download anything. You should buy cables that will connect from your camera to your pc/laptop.
Your options are: Buy a SD/HC card reader. Your camera has a memory card, called SD/HC. Stick that card into a card reader and you can get your images from the camera.
Buy a USB 2.0 cable. Find one that will connect to that of yours, one end is a usb, the other end must match into the camera. (mostly it would resemble a smaller usb port on your camera)
My recommendation: Buy the USB, its cheaper. You wont run the chance of scratching your SD card when you put it in and take it out of the card reader/camera.
you can go to any computer store or radio shack store to get a USB cable for your camera. These are pretty standard. Take your camera in to make sure that the camera side jack of the USB cable fits your camera. The cable should be less than $6.00.
If the camera accepts an SD card, you can copy your photos to the card. You can then connect your SD card to your PC and download the pics from there.
If your PC does not accept SD cards, you can buy a cheap standard USB cable and an SD card adapter pretty cheap.
Players use standard USB, Mini USB, or Micro USB. I believe the one in title uses Mini USB cable.
To get a replacement cable go to any computer shop or camera shop and buy a Mini USB cable, take the player with you and show it to the shop assistant to ensure you are buying the right cable.
Regards.
There's several standard configurations for USB cables, and chances are, you need one of these standards.
Take your camera to a local computer store, or even a Best Buy, and they'll SHOULD be able to find a cable with the appropriate end to fit your camera. Chances are the computer end is a standard full size USB connector.
