It's working now, no fix as such was required - something in the timer must have come loose as it's now working after a quick fiddle under the metal front. Thanks.It's working now, no fix as such was required - something in the timer must have come loose as it's now working after a quick fiddle under the metal front. Thanks.

seems like the timer maybe faulty, just check the selector switch for any burn marks on the electrical contacts, unplug first. there is no thermostat i know of to cause this fault. seems like the timer maybe faulty, just check the selector switch for any burn marks on the electrical contacts, unplug first. there is no thermostat i know of to cause this fault.

I have a paper copy of the manual - if you need to know anything more than the information below post a more specific question.
The function symbols on Knob F, clockwise from the top, are as follows:
0 = Off
Lamp symbol = Lamp Only, no fan, no heating.
Fan + Drip Symbol = Lamp + Fan, but no Heating - this is for defrosting.
Fan inside a Circle symbol = Lamp + Fan + Oven Heating - this is the normal cooking position. The temperature of the oven is set on the Temperature Knob.
Final position = Grill. The temperature of the Grill is set on the Grill knob.
The red indicator light only comes on when the Oven is heating (not the Grill), and goes off when the oven has reached it's set temperature.
The bulb is 25W 230V Type E-14 300 Degree C.
The oven draws a maximum of 2300W so requires a 10A supply.
blue waffle is nice and i like to pop fish up my **** go to google and type in lol fish and then click im feeling lucky and do the same with blue waffle xx good look it could help your oven.
If you are sure the timer is set to manual and not auto , then I would say that it sounds like the selector switch is faulty or the thermostat is faulty, some times they are combined as one unit, and sometimes they are 2 separate switches.
You need to remove top cover of oven and have a look inside the control panel and see if there is anything obvious like a burnt wire or bad connection
If it is a combined unit, then sometimes the 2 parts of the unit become disengaged or the cam inside the switch breaks.
If everything on your B1691N0GB oven seems to be working, i.e. all the lights are on and fan comes on in fan oven setting, but there is no heat from fan oven, conventional oven or grill, try turning your oven off at the mains, then turn on again. If the temperature display then shows 444, your oven is locked. To unlock, make sure the central control knob is in the "out" position, then press the fan oven and light buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds or so, until 333 appears on the display. Your oven is now unlocked.
