If you are unable to use your memory card, your LG CU515 has a data cable connection which supports charging and mass storage mode.

Once you connect your phone to your PC with this cable, you should be able to transfer your pictures.

USB Connection Mode:
You can transfer files between a compatible PC to
the memory in your phone using the Mass
Storage. When you connect the phone to a PC
using the USB cable, this will be displayed as a
removable disk through Windows Explorer.

After connecting your phone to your computer with the data cable on your computer, click: START > Computer > and look for the phone in the list of storage devices.

On your PC, double click on the icon that identifies your phone - and locate the folder where the picture's on your phone are located. Then double click on your picture's folder on your PC. Simply drag and drop the pictures from your phone to your PC.

If you do not have a Data cable, one can be purchased either at your local cellular retail store or on eBay:

SOURCE: Installing a 2GB PNY Micro SD Card

Hello,

Only the Sprint version of this phone supports memory cards over 1 Gigabyte. Sorry. But if you have a Sprint phone comment back to me using the comment box below. Thanks.

If you don't have a Sprint phone you need to acquire a 1GB card and use that. Hold on to your 2GB card as it will be usable when you upgrade at the end of your contract period.

Regards,
Worldvet

Insert the Micro SD to the slot which says "Micro SD" and then plug it in the USB port of your laptop. The laptop will soon detect the Micro SD. Open "My Computer" and then choose the removable drive which is usually E: or F: or G:. Thanks.

I have a new HP computer with Windows 7. Someone gave me a PNY 2GB memory drive with photos I would like to download. Where do I put the memory drive?

that all depends on the model of your laptop, most current laptops have a slot for a standard sd card, if this is the case you will need a micro sd adapter.

if you dont have a port for an sd card you have 2 options, first you can buy a usb memory card reader (making sure it takes micro sd cards before you purchase) or, most mobile phones take the micro sd card so you can put it in your phone and either plug it into your laptop using a usb cable and try getting them that way, or if you can view the photos on your phone, bluetooth/email them across.

How can you import pictures in inbox on cell phone to the microchip SD 2gb inserted in phone?

Micro SD cards for cell phones are now costing less and are holding more memory. 4GB SD cards can hold an estimated 1000 songs, over 13,000 images, or 22 hours of video individually. 2GB memory cards hold roughly half those estimates and 8GB SD cards would hold double. So if your cell phonemag-glass_10x10.gif has a SD card slot learn how to utilize this expandable memory option on your device. Follow these steps and you will soon be enjoying your music, pictures, and video on your phone!
  1. Insert your SD memory card adaptor (with micro SD card inserted) into your SD Card drive on your computer. This should open a "Secure Digital Storage Device" or similar window. If not, go to "My Computer" to locate your SD card and open it.
  2. Step 2 To transfer picture files to your SD memory card, open the folder or file that your pictures are stored on. Simply click and drag a file or multiple files and drop them into your SD Card window or folder. You can also copy a picture and then paste it to the SD Card.
  3. Step 3 To transfer music files to your SD memory card, open your "My Music" folder. Select the folder where you are going to get the music from (Itunes, Yahoo Music...). Click, drag, and drop the files into the SD Card window or copy and paste them in.
  4. Step 4 To transfer video files to your SD memory card, open your "My Videos" folder. Select the folder where you are going to get the video from. Click, drag, and drop the files into the SD Card window or copy and paste them in.
  5. Step 5 Take out the SD memory card adaptor from its drive. Remove the Micro SD card (small chip for your phone) and insert it into the SD Card drive on your Blackberry, IPhone, or other compatible cell phone.
  6. Step 6 Go to your media, picture, or music folder in your cell phonesmag-glass_10x10.gif menu. Select which item you are looking for and your files will appear!

How do i transfer pictures from cell phone to laptop?

two known options:

-email photo to yourself from the phone.

-this phone seems to have a micro sd card slot - you can insert a micro-sd card and transfer the photos to the card, then read the card on the laptop with a reader that supports micro sd.
so, you should check into the laptop and see if it has any card readers built in since you may need an additional adapter or device in order to connect the micro sd card to the laptop.
some micro sd cards will come with adapters to the larger sizes of mini and standars sd card, which may help.
you might also have luck putting the card from the phone into some other connectible device (ie a camera) and move the files in that manner - but depending on your hardware and software this may not be a viable option (inexpensive to try, though, if you already own some compatible device)

I'm having trouble with my 2GB micro SD Card

You have to format your micro SD memory card with your phone first before you can download files to it. With the micro SD memory card in your phone.
1)go to menu 2) go to settings & tools 3)go to memory 4)select card memory 5)***SELECT OPTIONS*** ---this will ask you if you want to format your card select YES, if there is a phone password it would be your last 4 digits of your number.

Now eject the memory card from you phone. Now when you put the memory card to your computer you should see the sub menus...my pics..my videos...my music...my sounds. Now all you have to do is just click and drag your music and photos to these folders.

Then when you add the memory card to your phone it will see all the music, photos, etc...
