How do I change the language on my BlueAnt st3? From off, press and hold the On / Off button until the Bluetooth® indicator turns blinking red/blue. (The kit is now in pairing mode). Please be patient because the Commute 3 has 12 languages and it will cycle all available languages.
How do I reset my BlueAnt ST3? Reset the BlueAnt device. Press and release the "Vol +," "Vol -" and "Multi-Function" buttons all at the same time. The volume buttons are located on the side of the BlueAnt, while the Multi-Function button is on the front. The BlueAnt resets and clears the existing pairing list.
How do I remove a BlueAnt pair list? On your phone bluetooth menu, search for devices and select BlueAnt ST3 then enter 0000 as pincode. Press the MFB until the LED blinks red/blue. Note: Blackberry and Smart phone owners please refer to section F of user guide. Alleant Phonebook transfer will be initiated.

What you need to do is to put the device into pair mode before hand, to do this with the device off hold down the green button until you hear a language loop. When you hear the language of your choice let go of the green button and press it once right away. When you hear a message about your phones bluetooth menu, go to your bluetooth menu and search for devices. Select the ST3 and enter the pin code 0000 if prompted. If at that point it is not accepting that code, do a hard reset on your phone. To do this remove the battery from your cell while it is powered on(if u have an Iphone do a full power cycle) when your phones back up search again enter the pin and it should work.

Here is how I got my Samsung to pair (on page 12 of the Blue ant manual):

Deleting all Paired Devices & Phonebook entries:
1. Ensure the SUPERTOOTH 3 is switched OFF, press
& hold the Volume Up (8) Button.
2. Whilst holding down the Volume Up (8) Button, press
the MFB (1) for 1 second or until a distinctive melody
is heard through the speaker, the software version will
then be announced. Once this occurs, please switch the
SUPERTOOTH 3 off for a minimum of 10 seconds.
All paired devices & phonebook entries have now
been erased.

Go back in and pair your phone, use pass code 0000 and let it reload your address book and you should be good to go

How to connect or pair a Blueant Bluetooth handfree.

1. Switch off the Blueant:
i.e. push the microphone inside the Blueant.

2a. Press and hold the GREEN telephone symbol (or Accept) pushbutton
On the Blueant flat face for 8 seconds. (this makes unit go into “pairing” mode)

2b. at the same time switch Power On to the Blueant by pushing out
the microphone on the side of the Blueant.

3.The Bluetooth Indicator will turn a blinking red/blue,
when you see this, release the Accept Button .
The Blueant is now in “pairing” mode.

4. Get you mobile in Bluetooth search mode to pair with a new device.


5. The Blueant will request your mobile device for a password.

6. Enter the password= 0000 , the devices now will be paired.

7. Set the Blueant as a trusted/authorized device, if this is option in your phone.

initially check whether both the devices are compatible when your pair them. Then try to give the same passkey on both the devices like 1234 in your blackberry and also same 1234 on your blueant ST3 and check.

1. If the Supertooth 3 is on, turn it off by holding down the green Multi-Function button for about 5 seconds (until you hear a voice announce "BlueAnt ST3 powering down").
2. Hold down "Vol +" and the green Multi-Function button until you hear a loud siren/distinctive tone.
3. The Supertooth 3 will turn on. Hold down the green Multi-Function button for about 5 seconds to turn it off again.
4. The Supertooth 3 has now been reset: all pairing and other information has been deleted. When you turn the Supertooth 3 back on again it will prompt you to select a language and then go into pairing mode.

You will now need to re-pair your phone with your Supertooth 3.
