Does it work without remote OK.

You have to go to service mode menu and adjust. Only service center can help you.

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. One among the posts has details about it. Surf the site with patience.

If all other functions, except the Volume + / - button on your remote control works properly, the fault is with the remote controls' keypad. If no buttons on the remote control works, it might be due to a non functional remote control, or with a faulty infrared sensor inside your TV.

My lg tv displays V3.10.1 an does not respond to manual or remote control

It is showing the software/firmware version--seems you may have by accident gotten into a place you should not be in---best answer is get LG on the phone with model number and the V3 information---I doubt anyone here will resolve this issue instantly.

I bought the amp a few weeks ago and it worked perfectly for a couple of days and then for some reason the controlls just froze. the tap tempo light went out and the channel control light stayed the same...

Exercise your warranty IMMEDIATELY since you just bought it! If you bought this used, you LIKELY bought someone else's problem. The problem is likely in the digital effects area... probably a bad cable contact... but if under warranty DO NOT mess with it... return it for replacement or repair.

My LG tv is stuck at 100% volume and neither the remote control or the manual buttons can change this.

I HAD THE EXACT SAME ISSUE ON MY LG TV. WENT THROUGH EVERY PROCESS REMOVE BATTERIES, UNPLUG ETHERNET CABLE, HOLD IN POWER BUTTON ETC ONLY TO FOND OUT IT WAS MY FIRESTICK REMOTE THAT WAS THE PROBLEM.
THATS WHAT WAS TURNING TGE VOLUME UP TO 100.
I CHANGED THE BATTERIES AND CLEANED THE BUTTONS AND TURNED IT DOWN. PROBLEM HAS NOW GONE.

I Have an Lg 42lc2d and last september 2009 the remote control in the tv quite working so I had a tech come out and he said the remote control was working fine but the tv was not reading it. The tv would...

You have a pair of head phones? On the back of the TV there is a CONTROL input jack. Unplug the AC on the TV and rapidly insert and remove (fully) your head phone connector into this jack. Do this about 10-20 times. Plug the TV back in. Does the remote work? If so, put a piece of scotch tape over the empty CONTROL input jack. Dust gets in this jack and messes up the remote communication. I hope this helps.

Pioneer SD-582HD5 - screen went black, no sound, Poor remote feed

The blue tube might be leaking coolant in the high voltage area, that is the cause of the POP. This repair might not be a DIY because of the lethal high voltage surrounding the CRTs tubes.
The slow response from the remote could be because the coolant has affected the main board where the IR signal are going to the remote sensor.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

Unable to control channels or volume

Is the remote a universal? Make sure you select TV as the the device you are trying to control. You can also fix a wonky remote by popping out the batteries and mashing down all the buttons. This rids the remote of any built up electricity that could be hampering functionality. Also, the remote sensor on the TV is controlled internally of course so a power drain of the TV wouldn't hurt:

1. Unplug the product's power cable so that the device is not grounded to the house. Do not simply turn off the power-bar if one is in use.
2. Press and hold in the products power button for 1 minute to release the retained electricity from the capacitors and circuit board. 3. Plug the product back into the wall outlet rather than a power-bar to rule it out of contributing to the problem and turn the device back on.
What do the buttons on the TV itself do? Do they work properly? If not, the problem is going hand-in-hand with the remote and again, the problem is internal and service or a firmware update, if available, may resolve this.

Toshiba tz50v51 popping sound

Possible problems: * The TV set may be unplugged. * A fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or switched off. * The remote control unit (RCU) may be disabled. Solutions: * Make sure the TV/VCR are plugged in and the wall switch is on. * Check the fuse or circuit breaker. Test the outlet with a lamp. * Replace the RCU's batteries: if this fails exchange the unit.
