Cracked glass on IPOD Touch. Help! - Apple iPod touch

Is it the glass or the display beneath the glass? Cost will depend upon which of these is broken. There are many mail-in services available online, ifixit.com comes to mind. If you are a do it yourselfer, there are tons of videos and step by step instructions out there as well. I recently purchased an LCD display from ebay for an ipod touch, took me about 15 minutes to R&R the part for the device after reviewing videos on youtube.

how do you sync songs when fully charged on itunes....yes i pulled the charger out and then plugged it back in but my device doesn't show up.....i even shut down the computer....is there a certain way please help!

It is possible, but the replacement glass is around $70. If you want to still buy it, theres a tutorial here on how to replace it.

Go on e-bay and buy a screen repair kit for cheap. Then go on you tube to get easy repair instructions.  Apple won't replace cracked screens for free cause they know you broke it.

The only solution to this screen problem is to replace the screen.

You may be able to get a cheaper deal from ebay or from other websites.

my screen on my ipod touch is cracked from one corner to the other...it still works fine, but doesn'tlook very good. my limited warranty hasn't expired, but i don't have the apple care thing. I don't know what to do! please help.
