If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water
temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, the "F/05" error code
will be displayed. Possible cause/proceedure:
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check the water temperature sensor. Refer to the
"Water Temperature Sensor" section. Check
connections to the water temperature sensor.
3. Check resistance of heating element, if present on this
model. (abnormal = infinity)

It sounds like the water inlet valve that the fill hoses attach too is stuck open. Replacing that valve should take of the problem.

Hello, you've indicated this problem only arrises during the rinse cycle, is that correct ? The leak doesn't occur during the wash cycle initial fill level ? I want to distinguish the difference because there has been a repair tip issued by whirlpool for the duet and sport washer's. This may be applicable to your machine. If it is indeed only during the rinse, the problem is within the door assembly. Specifically the glass and it's "seat" to the frame. Let me know, I'll watch for your reply. macmarkus :)

An F05 is a water temperature sensor error.

This occurs if there is a problem detected during the heating step of the wash cycle.

You will need to check the Water Temperature Sensor, Heating Element and the Heating Eleme
