I have an ariston ld 87 dishwasher. It doesnt finish the wash cycle and flashes ALARM 10. Can anyone tell me what the code is telling me. Blockage maybe? Thanks.

Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety system which is able to detect any operating problems. These anomalies are reported by
one or two wash cycle indicator lights "E" will flash rapidly.

Any flashing combination of LED diodes (Intensive wash, Regular wash, Eco wash, Rapid wash, Soak and Crystal care) means different error code. Take a note of which lights are flashing?

If you have problem with fill water than following two LED should be flashing.
In this case could be:

• Water valve disabled
• Turbine disabled
• Control board faulty

The water temp thermostat is to blame or the water is not heating.Basically what happens is the washer fills with cold water and starts to wash and heat at the same time.Once the water reaches a certain temperature it moves onto the next stage of the wash program.If the water is not heating or the thermostat is not working the programmer wont get the signal to move on.Hope this helps.

had something jamming pump impeller which prevented machine pumping water out. The motor is connected by a bayonet fitting to the pumpand is easy to get at and clear obstruction.

Change the circuit board, timer/progrsmer.
Take it out and clean contacts,
Look for burnt circuit line and solder a fine bead carefully on the circuit board, difficult. Use the pot and pan program.

Never use tablets or gels in a dishwasher, especially in a water conserving DW like and LG dishwasher.
Buy a box of Electrosol or Cascade powder -- not a cheap generic product. You will be amazed at the difference. Tell a friend.

I pushed the "power button" and the "start button" together for some seconds, and then the dishwasher was ok, and didnt run the Demo longer.

the only thing to do is check that the water censor pipe is not blocked preventing the censor to tell the controller its finished the spin cycle this is a small 5mm pipe leading to wards the top of the machine take it off and blow gently down it you will hear a click and one when you release the air this means the censor is working but the small pipe where it came from is blocked clean the blockage with a pipe cleaner or similar replace the pipe eric
