Heating element has blown, when it is replaced check that it didn't damage the thermostat at the same time.

Sounds like the oven element has blown.
To fit a new one, remove cover at rear of inner oven compartment, there you will see the round fan element.

I have a 'Simpson 2001 Thermaflow Oven' and a few months ago, i was heating it up, and i heard a pop, from then on my oven has not heated up, i cannot seem to find what is wrong with it!! Please...
I would say that the oven element has blown. It is common especially if you have a fan forced model. Make sure the fan works before you go buying a new element as the replacement will fail early. Simpson ovens have to be removed from the wall cavity to replace the fan and the element. Make sure you tuen the power off before doing anything...
Give the parts supplier your model number so that you get the fight element ( and fan) if necessary.

probably a blown fuse or element .A visual check should identify which is blown or do a continuity check on both

Hello,

It would seem that the ring element surrounding the oven fan has burnt out and will need replacing.If you are good at D.I.Y Then you would be able to replace yourself as long as the power is off.The part no. for new element is 3117704001 and costs € 26 Euros in Ireland.

Oven not working
It sounds like the element/s have blown, especially if the fan is still working o/k.
You cannot always tell by looking at them if they are faulty or not.
Only way to be sure is to test them with a meter.

Oven will not heat
Although I am not familiar with this oven, living in the u/k, I would say that without any doubt the oven element(s) have failed, more so if the fan is working, so I would have hesitation that you replace the suspect element (s)..

Display works but no lights on either oven and no fan
If the display is flashing, it sounds like the timer needs resetting
U need to refer to your instuctions on how to do this..
If it does it again once u have reset it, then I suspect that the oven element has blown..
