Make sure that your computer is able to go online through the modem. If your computer is not able to go online through the modem then you will need to call ISP first. If your computer is able to go online through the modem then you need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router. open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

Can i connect belkin to belkin through dsl modem and how

Yes, you can connect:

DSL modem WAN/Internet port on Belkin #1

LAN/network port on Belkin #1 WAN/Internet port on Belkin #2

LAN/network port on Belkin #2 your computer

If the two Belkins are in different rooms, and there are more than one computer in the room with Belkin #2, it makes sense to run ONE (not MANY) Ethernet cables from Belkin #1 to Belkin #2.

Belkin N Modem Router F5D8636 Im having a problem with internet connection via this particular model. I get connected to the internet for about 2 hrs then it will be disconnected to the internet. However...

this is because, your ISP may refresh the ip address assigned to you for every 2 hrs.... usually belkin will understand the change of ip address and act accordingly...in you case it is not.... you can log in to router by typing 192.168.2.1 (login password: no password....leave blank and click submit...) clicking on restore factory defaults and reconfiguring the router will fix this issue... if it still didnot, then follow this link below and download the updated firmware for your router version (v1 or v2)....
http://tinyurl.com/33c37x4
once you updated the firmware, click on restore factory defaults and configure the router for your ISP....
Call 1800-2-belkin(235546) for technical assistance to configure your router...

Modem router light blinking (no wireless connection) F5D8631-4

Try restoring the Belkin back to the factory default by powering up the Belkin and pressing the RESET button on the back of the Belkin for 7 secs. Then connect a LAN cable from the computer to the Belkin, open IE browser and type the configuration IP address and configure the wireless settings ie. SSID, encryption etc. The computer wireless cards will need to be configured with the Belkin wireless settings to allow them to communicate with the Belkin.

I have recently bought a Belkin Wireless Router and I am unable to connect to the Internet on my laptop. What do I need to do to connect my laptop to the internet using the Belkin Wireless router?

your Internet modem or router needs to be connected to the Belkin router's WAN port with an ethernet cable. You'll then need to configure the belkin's wireless settings, it's usually a very easy "follow the prompts" kind of setup.
