Ya I tried those on my home pc but they wouldnt let me download it because my computer said it was a virus. So I scanned the files today at work and got them to start downloading. What do I do with all of these? The first file is simply text, the second file is 16.9mb compressed and the second is 801mb compressed. Do I simply unzip everything and put what files on my sd card?

You do not give very much information to go on.
Perhaps you have downloaded some data such as routing or some other details from your computer via "MapSource". If so AND you have a mini SD card in the GPS, you have overwritten the SD card with the data from MapSource ...the map data on the SD card is now gone!
But the MapSource Data remains.
If you have copied the original data on the SD card, just copy and paste to re-place it.
If NOT you will need to contact Garmin to get a new SD data card.
What you have to do to prevent this in the future is to temporarily remove the Data Card from the Garmin GPS, then download the MapSource data from your computer. Then the MapSource Data goes to the GPS on-board memory.
You can place the SD card into the slot beside the chart card.
With the SD card in the GlobalMap unit by itself (take the chart card out), press MENU twice and
choose BROWSE FILES. Does the unit indicate that an SD card is
present? If yes, the card is working fine in that slot. Try the same thing in the other slot. If it only recognizes the SD card in one of the slots, the other slot is bad and probably won't work with any card. If the card is recognized in the BROWSE FILES menu, but the data that is on the card is not working, there could be compatibility issues with the data and the GlobalMap 5000.
Make sure the GlobalMap 5000 has the latest software update from
http://www.lowrance.com/en/Products/Legacy-Products/GlobalMap-5000C/Downloads/GlobalMap-5000C-Software-Update-180/. You might need to get a different, smaller capacity card since your 2GB is not working.
If the 2GB SD card still isn't recognized in the BROWSE FILES menu after the update, the GlobalMap 5000 is not going to work with that 2GB card. You will want to get a different card. I suggest 1GB and smaller.
If this doesn't help, please let me know some more details. Is the 2GB SD card recognized in the BROWSE FILES menu. What are you seeing that makes you determine it does not recognize this card? What files are currently on this card? What kind of card is it (brand, model).

No, Garmin maps will not work on a Magellan Triton.
Yes, you can install Bluechart and CityNavigator onto one SD card. Inside Mapsource, select the Bluechart maps you want, then switch to CityNavigator and select the maps you want from then, and then send all at once to the GPS unit. If you send Bluechart maps, and then CityNavigator, the CityNavigator will overwrite the Bluecharts. This is why it must be done all in one step. Try purchasing a new SD memory card (brand name) and installing the files there. Sometimes the manufacture sends cheap SD cards and the data is easily lost in damaged or poorly made SD cards. I have a EVESHAM 2007 and installed the files from the original CDto a new SD card and solved freezing and other problems resulting from poor data transmission from the cheap SD.
Also, try going online to the manufactureer's web site to see if they have downloads/ updates available there to replace the origianl install files that came with the unit. Always put on new brand new SD card.
When you finish the downloads, you need to unzip all the files, then copy the map files into the maps folder. Once this is done, copy the entire thig to the SD card and enjoy!
The other solution was to send it to Fine Digital but they closed their doors in the US so they no longer support us customers. Because of this I made a DVD with map data I purchased from them before they closed and I added much better instructions; this DVD updates the firmware in the unit and loads the last map data issued to the SD card. you would need a PC with a DVD drive and SD card reader to use it. you can find these DVDs on ebay for $18 which basically covers my costs only.
you need to reload the firmware in the unit and reload the map data on the SD card, this will fix your issues. as finedrive is not around anymore, here are the files:
