If you could reply with the exact model of the camera I may be able to find a user manual online
heres a link to the minolta manuals http://ca.konicaminolta.com/support/manuals/index.html
Once you have the film loaded - you then need to set the correct aperture and speed for the light available to correctly expose the film - There will be a number of options and methods to do that depending on the model .
You may also need to get a battery for the camera -

I cant find the correct size film for this camera i bought it at a yard sale

The Konica Minolta Maxxum QTsi is a nice SLR camera that can accept a wide range of 35mm films. You can buy 35mm films from Kodak, Fujifilm and many other companies.

I just bought a Minolta maxxum QTsi from a lady and it had no manual with it, I can't figure out how to load the film. Can you take me step by step on how to load the film and how the camera works when...

Hi, I've found the instruction manual online for you, http://www.mediacollege.com/equipment/manual/konica-minolta/camera/maxxum-qtsi.pdf that way you have it for future reference. For loading film you open up the back of the camera and make sure that the end of the roll of film is aligned with a red mark and then you close the back. For taking pictures you press the shutter button half way in order for it to focus, when the image you want is framed you press the shutter button the entire way and it'll take the photo.

I dont know what batteries to use and film to use on my minolta maxxum 70.

The Maxxum 70 uses two 3V CR2 lithium batteries.

The Maxxum 70 can use almost any 35mm film. Color prints, color slides, black-and-white prints. Do NOT use Polaroid instant film or infrared film.

If you need a manual, you can download one at
http://ca.konicaminolta.com/support/manuals/film-cameras/film_af_slr/dynax_60/Dynax_60_Maxxum_70_E_B.pdf

Film

I am guessing that the film is supposed to wind itself on when you close the camera? If you open the camera you may see that the film "leader" has not been drawn into the camera. When you load the film pull a small amount of the film (1 or 2 inches) out from the canister and place it into the (usually) right hand side of the camera where you will see the gears waiting to engage in the sprockets to pull the film in. The film should also lay flat across the rear of the camera where there are gears top and bottom that should engage with the film. Also check you have fresh batteries.

Minolta 700si rewind Problems

I dont get it! All I know is that almost all of film cameras rewinds when it reaches the end of film. Find the switch that turns off the autorewind function.
