Gateway keyboard KB-0401 driver Windows 7

Hi,

You plug the wireless transceiver (small usb dongle) into the pc and it will auto connect to the keyboard as long as the keyboard has working batteries installed and is switched on (if it has a power button)

You need a driver for your system that works with Windows 7

Problem might be if your runing WIndow 7 there is no informtion about support for the system. Only Vista

The factory installed drivers and applications can be re-installed by using Gateway eRecovery

Click Start, and then All Programs
Click Gateway, and then Gateway eRecovery Management
You may be prompted to enter or create a password. This password will be required to use eRecovery in the future.
In the next window on the left toolbar, select Restore.
Choose Reinstall Drivers or Applications
Choose Contents
Choose the driver or application you wish to install
On the right, click the Install link and follow the prompts.
The computer should restart when installation is completed. If it doesn't restart, manually shutdown and restart the computer by pressing and holding the power button until it powers off. And then start it as you normally do.

Your best bet is to install the vista drivers for the keyboard. Most vista drivers work in windows 7.

Alternatively, you could contact IBM trhough their support site.

shut your PC down and disconnect the keyboard and turn it upside down and let it dry out

gateway.com has a driver page with the drivers for everything they've ever pumped out
