I am not able to connect my achos to my pc or laptop. When I attached the cable from my achos to my system; it charges the battery but I cant access the hard drive and other files

Your starter is probably intermittent remove starter and get a bench test done for free at autozone

Mine charges fine from the socket, you might have a dodgy charger or connection. You cant charge them by USB.

Please remove battery and connect charger and turn on computer. If on adapter working fine, now connect battery without removing charger , and check charging.

Scan your computer with an antivirus >> Apply De-fragmentation on your system>> Fix registry errors.
>> Use a system utility tool like Reginout to fix this problem

A) The Battery is old, and beyond charging

B) The AC adapter (Charger) may be bad, and/or one of it's cables may be bad. If there is no one to test it with a multimeter, take it to a computer repair shop, and have it tested.

If bad suggest you look around at prices on the internet, before buying one from the repair shop. (If offered)

C) The port on the laptop, that the AC adapter (Charger) plugs into, is the DC Power Jack. (May be labeled as DC IN )

This jack may be soldered directly to the motherboard, in the laptop, or is attached to a cable which plugs into the motherboard.

For the style that is soldered directly to the motherboard, it's solder connections may have received damage.
Normal plugging in, and unplugging, may have cracked it's solder joints.

Bad connection caused by cracked solder joints, could = no power to battery. (Even though the laptop May be receiving power)

If laptop operates fine on the AC adapter, but the Battery will not charge, the problem may be a power sensor chipset, on the motherboard. May require replacement of the motherboard.

{ This chipset senses;
A) When the battery needs a Full charge, or just a trickle charge.
B) When the battery needs No charge, and power just goes to the laptop.
C) When the Battery needs a trickle charge, or full charge, and the laptop also needs power }

With laptops there are a few things to check in order to get your Internet Connection back online.
1. Make sure the laptop is plugged into the wall or has a fully charged battery. Some wireless adaptors will not work if the system is not plugged in. 2. Make sure the "WiFi" light is on if you are using WiFi. 3. Make sure the Internet Cable is plugged into the right jack if you are using a cable. It should look like this: 4. Make sure other computers can connect through the same wireless router if you are using one.

Usually you can energize the electrical system by making a mini set of jumper cables using a lamp cord and alligator clips. attach one end to a battery and attach the ground to the starter housing or any metal bracket, the positive lead to the main terminal on the starter. (don't mix up the lead ends...mark them so you can identify them.) Do not try to start the car with this attached. light wire won't handle the amperage.

It may well be that the battery that's being charged is getting past its sell by date. They only last for so many charges. easy way to find out is remove the battery, connect the power supply, and if the charger power supply doesn't get hot (usual to get warm) then its your battery. It is perfectly okay to use the laptop without the battery installed on the mains.

remove all bottom screws out of the laptop, Including beneath the battery. Some are actually labeled "keyboard"
Then pry off keyboard and the above plastic trim between screen and keyboard.
You will now have access to the keyboard ribbon cable connection. The brown clip on bottom of slots needs to be pried out abit, Then slide cable connection into slot very straight and slow. Once it is in as far as it will go, push the brown plastic clip back in place to lock ribbon cable securely into it's place. There is probably 2 cables on your machine.
Then reassemble.

DO make sure the battery is out and machine is unplugged before starting procedure

can you plzz be more specific , you have an issue with the batery charging , but you are able to turn the system on with the AC adapter connected to the laptop.

you can try updating the BIOS of your computer from the website support.dell.com also restore defaults in the system setup...
