Tag heuer hi, i have a tage heuer chronometer. i chebged the time recently for daylight saving etc. now it wont work anymore. it just starts for a few seconds and then stops. any idea what the problem is and how much it might cost to fix? thankls

The Tag Heuer F1 does not have a backlight function by way of pressing a button. However, if you mean the lumen on the hands and numbers not showing, then all that needs is daylight to recharge them.

I had a similar problem and found it hard to tell the time at night but I soon realised that the lumens needed a charge etc.... Hold your watch under a light source (torch) for a few minutes and you will see what I mean.

The small seconds hand do not stop because it has nothing to do with chronometer. Have you a copy of the manual?

If you have, then you will see that it can be turned off (last page), is this likely to be the case?

If you need a copy, go to their web site "tagheuer.com", select "watches", then "tag heuer formula 1", then "man", followed by "Tag Heuer F1 chronometer" and finally you will see on the right a menu, select "user manual".

This seems to be a generic manual that cover both the chronometer and alarm version of the watch.

If these are not the correct instructions for your watch, opposite the "user manual" menu is a search box, put your watch model in this and there should be a user manual with it.

If not look at a similar watch for a generic manual.

This is a warranty issue, the watch should not lose time like this. Take it back to the supplier ASAP

I'm not sure this will help, but try to reset the watch completely. Use users manual how to do that.
Sometimes it does the job.
