Can't get our Husqvarna YTH 2148 lawn tractor to start this year. I suspect it's old gas in the carburetor. Drained the remaining gas from tank and added new and everything else looks good. Battery & starter are fine. I can't GET to the carburetor to remove it, unless I'm overlooking something -- any ideas?

Didn't say if drive or deck belts. Here id diagram for deck belts which are more commonly changed.

the trans doesn't have one the engine has a black tube coming from he side you push in and turn the outer sleeve add a hose to the nipple and drain it out the might be a small yellow cap in the end of it

you need to check the connections on all the plugs sounds like one is loose

check to see if choke plate is closing all the way

check an see if the cabuerator is getting fuel and check make sure sparkplug is getting continous fire from the coil

there are mower boneyards around, you just have to look. try a google search in your state. also try ebay and craigslist. my yth 2148 looks just like my neighbor's craftsman, but the decks will not interchange.

I have a husqvarna yth2448 mower whitch the pto switch burns out and pull apart .Blade stop turning and mower remains running

It is obviously a carb issue, if the carb needle is leaking this would cause it to run richer than it should, a small amount of dirt on the filter would then richen it even more and cause issues like you have.
