I have the Disney D7500PDD Portable DVD Player with 2 screens. I plugged in everything in my car and home. The second screen I can see and the main screen is black but it will play a dvd, just can't see the screen. What's wrong with it? Do I need new connection cords for the one that connects them together?

Very Good Daniel,
if you are good with a srewdriver.. you could use a DVD from a computer and swap it to disney
Does the door to DVD slides out or pop the lid.
You still can swap if you are careful and you know what you are doing
I've done a few times.
Let me know in the future, if you can't, you can send to me for repair
I had to "jiggle" the wire on the main unit and eventually my picture came on. I would kinda bend the wires up & down until the second unit came on. The cord that goes between the 2 players is extremely sensitive and I have replaced mine once already. I still have to mess with it every once in a while, like when we hit a bump or something.
when you turn off the car - and also in the short period of time when you're starting it and the engine is turning over - all power to the devices in the car is shut off.
for this reason, the dvd player cannot remember where you last left off.
