I spent the whole night trying to fix this, all I could find was an unsafe workaround, involving this:
1/ Opening it up
2/ Find that upon forcing it in the the laser was not meeting with the ******* cd
3/ Sticking my finger at the bottom of the tray and lifting it up as soon as it loaded.
Now it works but only becuase I have to do the 1-3 everytime. Phillips also withdrew the Service Manual which is different to the normal one.
I could have gone and just brought a compatible drive from alibaba but no, phillips aren't having any of my Polish diy know how meddling with thier top secret **** you know what I mean?
