Well i just went to put in Sonic hereos and tried my other gamecube games and no scratched discs and the discs look to be fine so the laser needs to be replaced or is a weak laser then. But the wii is fine so my gamecube might have internal problems then.
Gamecube games don't have the proper coding installed on the discs in order to receive commands from the Wiimote. You'll have to have a Gamecube controller to play Gamecube games even on the Wii console.
Well that depends if your trying to play gamecube games on the gamecube or the wii?, i assume your doing it on the wii because anyone would know that a wii control wouldn't work on a gamecube, not impossible, just very hard
wii remotes do work with the nintendo wii on wii games and on gamecube games, but it is better if you use a gamecube controller and plug it into the to holes under the flap, pictured below, hopefully.
only the same bad news you would have had with a game cube... unfortunately this is a good sign of the death of a wii/gamecube... the problem may fix itself over time but then it will happen again more and more frequently... this is the wii equivalent of RROD.. the one thing nintendo forgot about when they re-released thi gamecube with a new way of controlling it and gave it a new name.
No. The gamecube discs are more the size of a minidisc and the ones for wii are full size discs like a DVD. My son is also 6 (going on 7 of course!) I decided to take the plunge after a long time battling with this decision. I just put the wii up high so he gets my help to load/change discs. He LOVES it! He is so great at it too! He loves the WiiSports, which the console comes with. (He even beats me at bowling!) It's a fun set up. I love that there are many games we can play together as a family, Cranium Kadooi, WiiSports, Playground, SmartyPants, as well as Active Life is due out soon and that looks to be awesome for some indoor activity! It is hard to make the decision to spend that much. I have been hanging onto the idea the last 2 years, that the price would drop and I would buy it then. Well, the price does not go down. In fact, it's hard to find at the retail price as it is hard for the stores to keep on the shelf! Good luck with the gamecube. If you still aren't ready to switch, maybe just let him pic out a few new games. This is sure to renew his interest in Gamecube! AS it is hard to find gamecube games in stores new, definately look on ebay.com for new and slightly used (which are great buys and I've never had a bad experience) gamecube games. Barnyard is a super cute one!
Please leave me a great rating if you found my reply helpful. Thank you! :)
Well i have expirienced the same thing. what you have to do is put the console face down so that the game slot is facing the floor then press the eject button but if that doesnt work you have to heat up the system by leaving it on for about 3 hours then tilt it and press the button and that should get the disc out for you.
