If the unit hasn't been used ofr a while it sometimes looses information it needs to figure out the sattelites. So what you need to do is charge it up or have it on the carger and perform a hard reset. The unit will then download new information and be able to figure out where it is and then how to get 'there'. This can take up to an hour but usually about 5-10 minutes if it has a good view of the sky so it can see the sattelites.

This is a common thing with all gps recievers.

It may help if you regularly get the latest satellite positions (for the next 7 days) - QuickGPSfix data (via TomTom HOME).

Spent the winter in Florida and now we are back in DE and Everytime we turn it on it goes back to Florida. It isn't giving us the correct direction to our destination

It sounds like it may not have received a signal since you've returned to DE. It needs to sync up with the satellites in your new location before it will begin navigating properly.

- Make sure that your GPS can "see the sky"
- Turn it on.
- Wait for about 10 minutes.
- THEN try entering your destination.

Once your GPS re-syncs with the satellites in your current location it should be good to go and you'll be on your way!

GPS takes a long time to receive satellite signal.

You probably are just in a bad location where satellites are not reachable. All these units work from the same satellites and recieve them the same so it wouldn't matter what brand you have. I highly doubt that the powerlines and cell towers are effecting the transmission.

Mp3 player

Actually that might be possible. If you're downloading movies in the proper format already all you would have to do is choose the file destination correctly. In this case the destination My Computer:E or F(depending on your installed drives):SomeFolderName:

So if you're downloading movies with let's say LimeWire or some other P2P software you can actually set the file destinations for each type of file as well and so long as your device is plugged in at the time that is exactly where the file(s) will be saved.
