Have a whirlpool model.# LSR 8444LQ0 Balance problem anyone know what maybe the cause and a fix it for it?

been there done that for a neighbor. Never figured it out. they bought new washer.

I can tell you a way to balance your machine, but it isn't the way anyone would normally do it. I have two 4 pound weights, plastic wrapped weights, and when my machine is unbalanced, I place one of the weights into the machine where I need more weight and it spins perfect.

The machine uses automatic load sensors to balance the load and when you put something in the machine that is big, like a comforter, it knows that it cannot balance that item. So with a front loader it wont spin at high speed because it would be off balance and either damage the machine or the machine would "walk" because of the off balance motion.

Most likely, the legs on the machine aren't level, causing it to move during operation.

what housing is it your trying to open?

sounds like timer is loosing contacts and time to replace.

just buy the clips, watch a video to remove the housing of the washer. it is a simple fix. should be below $20 to get the clips, j
