Lost driver I need the driver for Harman kardon hk206, a friend gave me the speakers for my computer but she didn't have the cd. If you could help I would appreciate it

If you are unable to get sound from speakers, chances are it's your computer and not the speakers. Speakers do not require a driver to work, the computer has to have the audio driver to make speakers work. To test this theory, simply turn speakers on and plug them into an mp3 player or cell phone (anything with 3.5 mm jack) and turn volume up - should have sound. What you will need to do is find model computer and look for audio driver for that computer.

control panel,administrive tools computer management,device manager,sound video controllers you should see yellow? right click reinstall drivers

Go to Harmon Kardon website and see if they have the driver to download, if not contact Tech Support.

pull off the cloth cover by using your nail or a screwdriver to get behind it. its simply a push fit cover.then you can acess the screws. there are 4 deep in the holes where the cloth covers connected to the speaker and there are 4 holding the actual speaker to the face that are plainly visible once cloth front cover is removed.

You can get the drivers from www.driverskit.com else you can surf the net patiently and you are sure to find it.

have you plugged anything else in to make sure the usb port is working? does the computer recognize the usb speakers when you plug the usb plug into the computer? do the speakers work on another computer? if you wiggle the usb wires around does it make a sound through the speakers? eliminate these questions so that we can move on to isolating the issue.
