HI, my sons have the ds Cars game and i know when they started with it there were maybe 10 or more games, and now due to them accidentally clicking on dumpster at one point they now they only have 3 games to choose from. i'm told there's a way to reset this and i've tried one or 2 solutions but not had much luck with those. is it possible to reset it to it's original 10 game card? thanks for any help. i'm usually quite technical about these things but the ds is not my forte.. many thanks .. valerie
no i was told it was cos they deleted stuff and the card needs to be reset properly to the original factory spec.. i tried the solution they gave me at the game shop, i.e. hold down all 4 buttons on the right, AND the 2 buttons at the back, while turning it on and off couple times...(not easy!!) but it hasnt worked. thought someone might know another solution.

my son's DS had the same problem this week. With the DS turned off, ,I pushed the game in and held it right down while turning the DS on. The game registered and I let go of the game and it clicked in to place. The next time I tried the game it registered straight away. Good luck!
Defecttive Slot 1
Look inside with a litte light. You will almost certainly see bend pins. You son has almost certain play with someting sharp inside the connector.
Slot1 must be replaced
their are 3 solutions but i cant asure that it will work
1. maybe when they play ds games like pac n roll the ds cardejects for some reason so sulution 1 is put tape ontop of the ds gamecard slot while their playin a ds game
2 maybe when they play a gba game the game pak is being hit by their chests or bellies so the card is moving a bit and the game freezes so put a big distance between the ds and the chest or belly
3. dont wiggle the ds alot and do you drop it often because if it is dropt often the ds will freeze often
Hi! I just bought my ds lite. but the thing is, there is no option in most of the games to save it. how do you do that? and also, how do you change games? like in PSP, you just quit after saving, in DS, what we do is just turn it off..how do you do that? help!
yes the problem can be fixed, but not by you, get a professional to do it, look up a games repair shop explain the problem, shouldnt cost too much, hey maybe they will sort it for free, but there are chances that its dusty and needs cleaning, use cotton bud but be careful dnt want to rub too hard, give it a few blows where game cartridge goes, you never know you might not need to get it repaired
Shut the hell up I think you're the idiot because i'm familar with the ds and ds lite and i am 100% sure you can use game advance games. My sollution is game boy advance games do use L and R buttons but maybe the specific game does not.
