Hi. I have had my Olympus SP-350 for a while now. But suddenly one day I tried using it and I took 2 pictures and then it turn off. I tried putting new batteries and it still don-t turn on. The Red and Green lights flashed and then they turn off and nothing happens.
Hi. Mine did the same thing one day. I took the memory card and batteries out and let it sit for a few minutes. I then replaced the batteries, but it said, "batteries empty." I then replaced the batteries with silver and blue energizers. It powered right up. I was afraid it was a gonner, but it's been fine since.

not sure - but seems like you have a power on issue, so try to check into the battery bay and see if there's any dirty stuff or leak from battery or just make sure the contact is clear.
Using a meter to double check to know that the batteries are BOTH charged is advised. The Buzzing noise seem to indicate the motor is having problem extending the lens or the motor's gear is stripping hence making the noise?
I found you because 10 minutes ago, my camera exhibited the same behavior as all yours. All of a sudden, the red and green lights started blinking on and off and nothing worked. I just tried switching batteries and the camera is working! I am using a couple of RCR-V3 Li-ion rechargeable batteries, which I purchased on Ebay three months ago. Thought I'd pass it on.
