Dear sir, Im a student @ University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka.I have a major problem in my PC.When I turn on my PC,it is not started, then I restart several times, but it doesn't work.It doesn't provide any beap sounds. Then I remove Processor and RAM and clean it.After that it works properly. Before happened this problem I repair my PC with WIDOWS XP service pack2.during that the two files(msvbvm50.dll and msvideo.dll)didn't installed. They skipped. So,I assumed the problem is my ROM drive and replaced the ROM drive and immediately format my PC.Then all files were installed.Today I also try to turn it on,but the same problem occurs. So I done the same then it worked properly. This problem was happened for me the first time that I assembled my PC in the home(before 6 months). After that it works very well until yesterday. Now I can't turn off my PC.Please help me and tel me some advices. Thank You Very Much.....!Dear sir,

Your MB can take a max of 2 GB RAM. And it has to be DDR SDRAM. So, please ensure that it is compatible. Then only would it accept the RAM SIMM else it may damage the mother board. or the RAM itself.
You can look up you mother board on the MSI support website. You wil need to know the CPU socket type. Download the manual for the board and the RAM and recomendations or in the manual.
It's here. http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=manual&maincat_no=1&prod_no=583 Please don't forget to rate this post as solved.
