I have the same clock and had the same problem. My clock was a demo and had no instructions with it. Here is the solution:
1. Pull out the battery and wait 10 seconds then replace the battery. The satellite symbol should start flashing after a few seconds.
2. Put the clock outside or in a window sill till it updates. This could take a couple of minutes.
3. Press the Mode button once to enter programming mode.
4. Press the Adjust button as many times as needed to toggle through the time zones.
5. Press the Mode button once to exit programming mode.

Setting time smartset

I couldn't figure out how to change the time zone because I didn't have the manual. Here's how to change time zone:

1. On top of clock you hold down time zone button

2. Push the up or down button to change the time zone. There are 7 time zones. The clock is set at zone 2 -Eastern Standard time. My zone is 3 -Central Time - I then had to manually set the correct time -(I'm not sure why but I did that) To test if the time zone worked properly I switched the time zones and the time on the clock adjusted automatically to the associated time for that area. I, of course, moved it back to zone 3 and the correct time for central time was displayed. I am waiting to see if the time properly adjust when time the DST changes. Also, for the manual: http://www.emersonradio.com/owner_manuals_list.php?ID=157

This is the manufacturers website (Emerson) for the EZ Set clock radio. Hope this helps.

Need to reset atomic clock to Virginia time zone; now 4 hours ahead

To set up your clock simply install one fresh AA, LR6 ALKALINE battery. Due to the nature of long wave radio signals it is normally not possible to receive a signal during the day so it is best to install the battery late in the evening. Select your time zone by pressing one of the four time zone buttons PT-Pacific Time, MT-Mountain Time, CT-Central Time, ET-Eastern Time. The time zone buttons may be pressed any time after installing the batteries. If multiple buttons are pressed the clock will set to the time zone selected last. If no time zone is selected the clock will default to Pacific Time. Another time zone can be selected during or after the clock has set itself. Your clock can only set itself to one of the four time zones stated above. For time zones outside of PT, MT, CT or ET you must manually set the time using the Manual Time set button on the back of the movement.
When the battery is installed the second hand will advance eight seconds (two seconds per step x four steps). The clock is now searching for a signal. For the initial setting it is recommended to stand the clock in an upright position near a window. Within five minutes the clock will either receive the WWVB signal and set itself to the exact time, or it will determine that the signal is not receivable at its current location and time of day. If a signal is not receivable it will fast-forward the hands to the 4, 8, or 12 o'clock position and search for WWVB each
hour until a signal is received. If the time is manually set the clock will continue to periodically search for a signal and automatically reset the hands when the signal is received.

I need to set my radio controlled clock manually. Model 8N2 V00. Anyone can help me pls? thx

The nature of this type of clock is that you neither can nor need to set it manually. Your only input is the time zone and it will look for the radio set signal from Colorado. That model does not get any hits on Google. Who makes it?

I don't know to set the time and alarm. Cd player isn't working but somtimes it does then not again!!! It's weird!!

You do not have to set the clock time
as a built-in automatic time set system
is equipped in this clock powered by 3V
(2 x “AA” batteries (included)). All you
have to do is to plug this clock for
power and current time will be shown
automatically.
Before plugging in for power, follow
the steps below to select time zone.
Setting Time Zone
You may slide the time zone selector at
the bottom of the clock to Pacific,
Mountain, Central or Eastern.
Refer to Figure 1 for U.S. Time Zone
details.
Refer to Figure 2 for Canadian Time
Zone details.
