Mic not working on Nokia 5300 i can hear them but they can not hear me i have sent away for a new mic how do i install

SOURCE: nokia 5200 in mic problam

first check the mic ,mic contact if it is ok then check the track form mic coil,which is embeded back side of the PCB IF IT IS dameg chang it,or put th jumper.

My nokia 5300 phone can not sent voice calls
The mic is probably damaged. This can be found on the piece that slides up. Removing the face plate would expose the mic whis is on the bottom left of the cover (It looks like a black round rubber with 2 gold tiny springs sticking out of it)

If the these gold springs are damaged or missing then the mic needs to be replaced. If they are not damaged the membrane might need to be replaced.

hi,
i think you had given to unauthorized service center for change the housing. they did not connected your mic properly. otherwise they damaged your mic. you can go to nokia priority center and give for service. they will rectify this problem for you..and this is not your speaker problem, it is mic problem only...

When i phone someone i can hear them but they cant hear me my phone is a n95
It could be possible your phone mic is out of order.
So you should replace a new mic and if your mic is good such as your phone recorder is work properly then you should install its software.

the mic in the 5300 handsets have a big problem where nokia used cheap mics and they stop working after a while
get this replaced at a respectable mobile phone repair centre

PROBLEM WITH THE NOKIA 5300 XPRESS MUSIC
aol videos has a repair solution for the microphone,,,,thier is a small connector on the faceplate itself that you need to take off and put on the new faceplate.it is where the mic is located,it looks like a small black rubber with two brass pins in it..good luck!
