My blackerry bold is not showing my sms text messages when using the "separate inboxes" option anymore.

As far as separate SMS and e-mail icons, go to messages, press the Blackberry button, select Options. Select the "General Options". In the display, there is an option "SMS and Email Inboxes". If you select Separate, messages always will be separated into either an e-mail inbox or SMS inbox.

You'll need to reconnect it to blackberry desktop manager and reload the software. Using a USB cable. Reload a lower software version say v4.6.0.301 (platform 4.1.1.245). This should solve the problem you're having.

Just go to your options, and click "themes". Then hit "restore theme defaults" and the icons should reappear.

You might also want to got to options menu in the email messages. It appears as you have a combined inbox instead of a separate one.
There is an option that says SMS AND EMAIL INBOXES with three options:
Theme controlled
Combined
Separate

Set it as separate and you should be ok.

Your Inbox Only support 200 sms... And when I say Inbox it includes your My folder as well... So you see 197+ 26 beyond your range... Delete Data from my Folder.... Problem solved.

Open up your messages, then click your menu button then go to Options. Click on General options, there will be alot there, scroll down until you see something like "SMS and Email Inboxes". Click on that to change the options, the choices are: Theme Controlled, Seperate, Combined.

If a customer is calling and their phone is sending SMS messages as MMS messages, please advise them that they may have an excessive amount of SMS messages in their inbox. Advise them that deleting some or all of these messages should correct the problem.
To delete messages:

1. Press Menu
2. Scroll to and Select Messaging
3. Press Options
4. Scroll to and Select Cleanup Messages
5. Scroll to and Select All, or Inbox

Go to message>options>scroll to bottom and you can separate your messages via theme control select and it will allow you to change your message boxes.

message icon select, options select, scroll down to bottom and make sure they are in separate, menu save.
