I bought my Lexmark x1200 a while ago, it was working find and now it will only print one page regardless of the number of pages that I want to print.

check the cartridge it has a toner pcr and cylinder inside maybe its defective or the ic chips

Lexmark products work best with genuine supplies. Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, remanufactured, or clone cartridges. You might not get the print quality you expect from ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark.
You can try to clean your cartridge nozzles using the Lexmark software on your computer. From your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X1200 Series folder > select Lexmark Solution Center. From the Maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them.
If that does not help, maybe it would be best to replace your supplies with genuine cartridges.

It could be that your cartridge nozzles need some cleaning. Long period of non-usage can lead to drying of ink and clogging in the cartridge nozzles. To clean the cartridge nozzles using the Lexmark software on your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X1200 Series folder > select Lexmark Solution Center. From the maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them. Then try to print your document again to verify that the cartridges are functioning now.

I presume you are using the Lexmark X1270 inkjet printer since you're posting under this model.
It could be that the printer driver on your computer is not properly installed. Try to uninstall your existing printer driver then reinstall using the X1270 driver on the Lexmark website. To uninstall, from your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X1200 Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot your pc when prompted.
When the computer turns on, please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X1270 XP Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.
Try to print your document again to verify that the problem is fixed now.

Try to reseat your cartridges into the printer. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds. When the printer turns on, reinsert both cartridges. Try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Visit the Lexmark website to download the Lexmark X1200 series driver for free. Click on this link Select a Lexmark Product. Then type the model number of your Lexmark printer (e.g. Lexmark X1250, Lexmark X1270 or Lexmark X1290) and hit SELECT. Choose your version of your computer's operating system on the next page, then hit FILTER. Click on the Complete Driver under Recommended Downloads. Download, execute the file and follow the instructions on the software. NOTE: The Lexmark X1200 Series is only supported on Windows operating system.

You can lastly try a hard reset of the printer but if that is to no avail the printer has an issue with it. See if you can get it to work with another computer for the heck of it just to make sure.
