No power Fan was running fine for a week. All of the sudden it stopped. Unplugged the motor and plugged in a light to see if there was power and there wasn't. So I am positive its nothing to do with the motor. Is there a rest on them?

Hello :

You should sniff the motor first . If there's a bad smell , then the motor is burned . You
If you can fix it by yourself , then dissemble the unit, remove the motor. Loosen the bolts running from end to end of the motor and with emery cloth, clean the small metal plates on the ehd of the armature. They should be bright copper color. If the armature is burnt, they will be dull brown. The other thing is to replace the brushes in the motor . Or take it to a repair shop if you are not sure that you can fix it by yourself .

good luck .

the power jack is dead!, so will be the fan.
read his post 1 more time. ok?

the OP asked if there is REST.
he meant to type RESET with and E.
no, this is not a computer here, at all, sorry
    no RESETS.
    the jack is dead.
that means the breaker is blow,
or the switch to turn it on is bad.
or loose wiring,(a danger in its own right that)
this fan is super super simple
2 wires and 1 switch and a motor.
if the motor jack is dead (it is)
    then the switch is bad
or now power to the switch
    or the wiring fell loose
    or service panel, breaker tripped.

I have a Bunn Ultra 2 machine it was working fine last week I left it running and when I went and looked at it yesterday it had shut off and would not start up. I unplugged it from the outlet and it...

was it hot? the compressor may be overheated and went into shutdown until it cools. it's safety feature if the fan stops or if the airflow is blocked by too much dust. clean the filter, check the fan, and try again. if it's not hot, it's the transformer that powers the main circuit board.

Kenmore Humidifier 14114 - the fan suddenly stopped running. Changed fliter and water, unplugged the unit, changed dial to highest humidity level - the unit will not run.

Hi

Please turn off the power to the unit and unplug it. Now check the fuse inside the unit, make sure its fine and not burnt If fuse seems OK then inspect the connections to the fan and make sure the wires are not cut. Also, inspect the control for any burnt components, use a multimeter to confirm. Hope this helps... Please post back with complete model# if you need more information.

Next time the fan stops check to see if the fan is being powered, if not the circuit board is likely the problem, if it does have power the fan may be faulty.

Did you remove the cover in the back of the freezer section?, see if the fan motor is turning, if the fan is not turning you will need to replace it and this will correct the problem allowing the air to circulate.

LG fridge suddenly stopped cooling.

If the fan inside the freezer is running and the compressor behind the fridge is running and is hot to touch, you have a gas problem or the compressor is inefficient. This can only be confirmed by connecting refrigeration gauges to the gas system and should only be performed by a fridge tech.
