check your speaker wires for bare spots and make sure your speaker terminals are not intermittantly touching metal.

Just installed kd-s16 has no power when you push eject it lights up and ejects when you push display it lights up but the power does not turn on

Get an adaptor wiring harness. It plugs directly into the plug in the truck. The wires are all labeled and you won't have to hack up the wiring in the truck. You can get the adaptor whereever they sell car stereos.
