Music transferred from internet to my sansa not good

Songs from the internet transferred to my Sansa C250 did not record well (are corrupt: would run for only 2 to 4 seconds totally garbled). Only the original CD music (transferred from CD to my Sansa via computer) recorded and played perfectly well in my Sansa. I already tried formatting my device but to no avail. Would anyone have any solution or suggestion to my problem?

I do that all of the time. Unfortunately some stuff comes really crappy. one suggestion is to look at several versions of the song u are wanting to download. They generally have similiar amounts of memory. Look for consistency. Depending on where u download from, they have a star system or quality scale. I would suggest T1 or higher. Preferably T3 or higher. or in some cases they have a star system. go for the highest star. I hope this helps

Am not sure which of the 2 actions we did solved the problem...but we installed the CD that came with it (my daughter has a Sansa C260 and her CD was already installed in the computer and we thought I didn't have to install mine). But we resorted on installing mine too in case it would help with the problem, and then we re-loaded all the songs into my Sansa C250 at a slower pace, although I really don't know if the quicker pace did cause the problem. But now my Sansa C250 is now able to record any song correctly.

Sansa c250 emty music folder

Your problem is probably a matter of the different storage methods the player uses. Songs transferred via MTP (google it if it doesnt make sense) usually dont show up in the music folder, and the same goes the other way around for songs transferred to the player as a regular usb storage device.

Music won't play

Some music services have a fixed-term license that they put on the songs - you may have to resychronize the Sansa to the computer AND the music service to regain playability. Alternatively, you could have a corrupt DB already - sad, but possible. The good news is that you can fix a corrupt DB by downloading the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk's website. Good luck!

Music not synchronized

Try going to the actual file the music is in on your computer, then right click Send To sansa 250. If that doesn't work look on the options menu for USB mode and change it, that works on my 280.

Sansa c250

Make sure the songs are in the correct format - not every music svc song has "transfer rights" that allow you to transfer them to player

Convert them to mp3 format, and you'll never have a problem

I need to know how to delete songs off my mp3/sansa sandisk c250

Open "My computer", then "Sansa c250 (E:)", find properties to show hidden files and a "Music" file (which is hidden) will appear. You can erase music directly from there.

Sansa c250 or e250 mp3 player

the price is pretty similar, the size would be my main concern. The e250 is wider and heavier then the c250, but the interface and the scroll wheel might be worth the extra bulk, if size isn't an issue, and you wanna be able to play videos then the e250 is the one. if you want something small just for music on the go c250 is your toy.
