How do I recover my deleted photos and movies on my Sanyo Xacti HD2000? I didn't delete, they just disappeared!
Hello, henryrich874! You can try this photo recovery software (also recover music and video files); it can help you recover your lost photos and movies from your Sanyo Camcorder:
Photo Recovery for Windows Users
Photo Recovery for Mac Users
Remember not write any thing to the device until you have got your photos and movies back!
Best wishes!
In my personal experiences, your problem
could be resolve in these three ways:
1). Try to unhide these files.
According to your description, your files may be hidden anyway. Try to show
them all up again:
Start => Run => Type in "control folders" and press
"OK" =>Click "View" and hook "Show hidden files and
folders"=> Press "OK".
2). Scan your camcorder with antivirus tool
Sometimes, the virus also would hide the files make them invisible for you. So,
just try to do antivirus scan on your computer. (You should take care not to
delete some needed files in the process.)
3). Restore your files back by using a deleted
photo recovery freeware:

This problem also could be caused by the camcorder problems. So, if you want to
save these files, you'd better try to use a photo recovery freeware that always
could help retrieve the inaccessible files back for free:

That should work now, but go ahead and download the .mov player Like VLC, Chroma etc. check this link http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=.mov+player+for+mac&aq=0&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=.mov+player+fo&gs_rfai=
If you have pc that has windows please check also if it will play because sometimes there are compatibility issues.
I also check the manual of your computer online and just found out this { Burn your recorded video clips onto a DVD
(Windows XP) }. check the files on the computer that has XP.
Or there might be a command for mac OS.
check this PDF file of the user manual of you cam.

I have a MacBook Pro. I am trying to find the files through my camera, but cannot. I just downloaded a software that has found the files, but now, I cannot play the .mov files with QuickTime Player. Any suggestions?
Do you have computer? If you do then you can check the files of your camera using the computer ll they may be just hidden on some of your folders.
